About Your Teachers...
Ms. Dait
Hello! My name is Lauren Dait. I am so excited to be working at Lake Windward Elementary as an ESOL Teacher! I am actually returning to the LWE staff. I had previously taught here from 2005 to 2012 and I am thrilled to be coming back! I have been in field of education for over 18 years and I have my teaching certificate at the Masters Level. I have taught ESOL for over 15 years. I love teaching, forming relationships with my students and working with other teachers to help all children reach their potential. I can’t think of a better place to teach than Lake Windward Elementary!
I currently live in Forsyth County with my husband, Pierre, and my two children, Sophia (14) and Grant (11). My weekends used to be filled with cheer and wrestling events. Things are a little less busy these days…. but I am hoping the schedule picks up again soon! In my free time I also enjoy walking, hiking, reading and hanging out with my family and dogs.

Ms. Rothman
I was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Maryland. I went to the University of Maryland where I studied Economics and Marketing. After managing a restaurant for many years, I realized my passion was working with children. So I went back to school and received my Masters in Elementary Education at Trinity College in Washington D.C. I love working at Lake Windward Elementary!
I have been in Alpharetta, Georgia for more than 15 years! I have three children of my own. My oldest daughter Leah is a sophomore at the University of Georgia in Athens where she is double majoring in English and Media Studies. Go Bulldogs! I also have 17 year old twins that are Juniors at Alpharetta High School. My son Sam loves wrestling and my daughter Lindsay loves cheering and doing a variety of activities in and outside of school.
Besides teaching, I love spending quality time with my friends and family, listening to great music, going to Atlanta Falcons football games, walking, and spending time outdoors.
